The Founder

Sabrina Kee (she/her)

Hey everyone! I am the visionary, founder, and CEO of CHARM. My mission here with CHARM is to bring marginalized folks to the forefront of the media, challenge beauty standards, give back to the community, and to bring awareness and funding much needed grassroots efforts.

Biography

Born and raised in the Hudson Valley and a SUNY New Paltz alumnae, Sabrina considers herself an artist, an activist, and a perpetual learner. With an established career as a portrait photographer and designer, in addition to her part-time work at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, she uses her talents to bring people together, boost self esteem, and build strong community bonds. Existing at the crossroads of blackness, queerness, womanhood and neurodivergence, she is passionate about community building, education, and the arts.

Her Work

Sabrina runs a glamour portrait studio in the City of Newburgh, where she provides a safe space for people from all walks of life to celebrate themselves through both traditional and creative imagery.

She is also currently facilitating “The Queer BIPOC Intersection” & “Sisterhood Support & Sanctuary” groups at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center.

In addition, Sabrina is the administrator of the 30k member Facebook group, “Bisexual, but make it fashion”!

LEAD WITH YOUR STRENGTHS. BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT YOUR WEAKNESSES. BE OPEN TO GROWTH AND CHANGE. HOLD ON TO YOUR BOUNDARIES. GRAVITATE PEOPLE TO YOU WITH YOUR PRESENCE.
